The purpose of the PACT (Pitkin Area Co-Responder Teams) program is to support law enforcement on calls for service involving mental health and/or substance use and, when possible, divert individuals with behavioral health disorders or symptoms from involvement in the criminal justice system, engaging them in treatment and/or social services instead.

The PACT case manager will primarily work with a diverse population including individuals who are struggling with mental health issues, substance use, and/or are involved in the criminal justice system. Patient population could include children, adults, individuals, couples, and groups. The case manager connects individuals and families to a wide range of resources and coordinates therapeutic and community-based services. The case manager may also assist with transportation as needed.
