Chaffee County seeks a Deputy Sheriff for the Co-Response Program. Thisposition plays a vital role in connecting individuals in crisis with the help theyneed while keeping our community safe. In this position, you’ll partner with Co-Response Clinicians to respond to behavioral health, substance use,homelessness, and other crisis-related calls. We're looking for a dedicated peaceofficer who is committed to serving the community with professionalism,compassion, and sound judgment. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a highschool diploma or GED equivalent, be POST certified, have advanced training ininvestigations, evidence collection, and narcotics, and hold CPR and First Aidcertification.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with a wage range of $35.67 to$37.00, DOE.
