The Anchorage Police Department’s Mobile Integrated Health Program is seeking a clinician to join a co-response team providing crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, referral, and linkage services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This position works in dyads, pairing one clinician with one police officer, and serves individuals in the community, including shelters, residences, hotels, hospitals, public agencies, and other community settings. Clinicians develop strong collaborative relationships with their officer partners, community providers, and external psychosocial agencies while supporting program goals and participating in department training, planning, and team strategy.

Qualified applicants must have a master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related counseling field, along with relevant experience in behavioral health, mental health, case management, or substance use services. The position offers a highly competitive salary, a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, and annual delegated funding to support continuing education. For clinicians working toward independent licensure, supervision is provided by the department at no cost to the incumbent.
