Mental Health Crisis Co-Response Team Leader
The Crisis Co Responder Team is recovery and resiliency oriented, intensive, community based rehabilitation and outreach. It is team based and consists of mental health rehabilitation interventions and supports necessary to assist the recipient in achieving and maintaining rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Interventions are provided in natural settings, and are delivered face to face, by telephone, or by video conference with individual recipients and their family/significant others to the primary well- being and benefit of the recipient.

Responsibilities
- Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, staff and community groups as needed
- Ability to engage with law enforcement in a multitude of settings for daily staffing and follow up calls
- Assist leadership with grant reporting when needed.
- Use available data to monitor effective team behavior in compliance with standards.
- Work alongside law enforcement officers
- Respond to live or active 911 calls that involve Clients experiencing Mental Health Crises
- Assist Law Enforcement Officers with de-escalation during crisis calls.
- Provide staff feedback on performance via team meetings, monthly supervision and annual reviews. Provide more frequent individual feedback when needed
- Participate as part of the leadership team providing support to the team and other departmental staff
- Complete all necessary monthly and quarterly reports by appropriate time lines
- Participate in the on-call system
- Complete all clinical documentation based on all appropriate regulatory requirements and Rosecrance policy
- Utilize variety of treatment concepts, evidence based practices and service modalities when providing care
- Demonstrate an ability to identify an individual in crisis, reduce the impact of the crisis on the individual and their supports and determine appropriate disposition
- Provide leadership by demonstrating self-motivation, seeking improved performance, problem solving while meeting the needs of the staff and consumer
- Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills that incorporate the 5 tenets of the Rosecrance Way into daily practices and interactions with all stakeholders.
- Serve as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.
Qualifications
- Master degree in counseling, social work or another related field is required
- Must qualify as a QMHP
- The ability to supervise, communicate clearly verbally, write concisely and legibly
- Counsel, edit, estimate, evaluate, influence, measure, observe, organize, plan priorities, summarize, and continual use of good judgment.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with others
- Skilled in conducting individual, family counseling, case management and motivational interviews
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements
- Must have own transportation
