Under the supervision of the Co-Response Program Manager, the Co-Response Clinician partners with law enforcement and first responders to provide on-site behavioral health support to individuals experiencing crises related to mental health, substance use, homelessness, or other destabilizing factors. This role focuses on diverting individuals from the criminal justice system and emergency departments by delivering immediate de-escalation, clinical assessment, case management, and linkage to services in a range of community settings. The clinician plays a critical role in crisis resolution, safety planning, and coordinating long-term support tailored to individual needs. Participation in and successful completion of approximately 90 days of field training/probation are required. Work is performed in Chaffee County and requires the ability to travel as necessary. The position requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field, active Colorado licensure LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAC or the ability to pass the clinical exam within six months of hire, 1 year or more of clinical experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention or co-occurring disorders treatment.
The schedule for this position is Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am-10pm with 4 hours of rotating coverage and/or training on Wednesday's.
The position is full-time exempt. Unlicensed Clinician's biweekly wage range is $2,307.70 to $2,692.30 (an equivalent of $60,000 to $70,000 annually), DOQ. Licensed biweekly wage range of $2,500.00 to $2,884.62 (an equivalent of $65,000 to $75,000 annually), DOQ.
