Pierce County Sheriff's Department is located in Tacoma, WA.

The Care Coordinator are embedded with law enforcement (LE).  LE is able to utilize the Care Coordinator as a resource when responding to mental health calls and provide resources and follow ups for individuals and their families that are in crisis or struggling with mental health.  

Job Requirements: 

• Working with Law Enforcement 
• Responding to community calls 
• Two years' experience 
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, mental health or related field required; a master's degree is preferred
• Current Washington Driver's License and reliable transportation require
• motor vehicle report from the appropriate state and proof of insurance for the transportation of clients
  
• Ability to obtain Washington State Counselor Agency-Affiliated Registration upon hire

Currently we have 3 open Care Coordinator positions with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department who contracts through Multicare Health System.  This position is fulltime with benefits. Currently we have Mid Shift available.  Multicare is also offering a $5,000 sign on bonus.
