In 2022, our co-responder program went from 11 to 20.5 co-responders positions. We have four openings remaining. A co-responder in Johnson County is a Johnson County Mental Health Center clinician who is embedded with a local law enforcement agency.
Applicants must meet Kansas criteria to be a licensed mental health professional, as well as, pass a polygraph and background check completed by the law enforcement agency.
Salary range starts at $60,548.80 (actual pay depends on qualifications).
We have 8 or 10 hour shifts which includes a working lunch.
