    Theme

The #CoRCon 2022 theme is Make It Matter!  While we are taught to triage calls for service based on acuity, the reality of running a co-responder program is that all of "it" matters - the team, your response, your funding, your data, your assessment, and safety.  For CoRCon 2022, we invite you to reflect upon the meaning of community safety and identify ways others may build upon the successes your community has had in responding to behavioral health emergencies.  We are excited to come together and learn how you Make It Matter in your community.

    Conference Proposals

Practitioners and subject matter experts are encouraged to submit presentation proposals for 60-minute breakout sessions by February 11, 2022.  Presentation topics may include unique ways of implementing co-responder programs, lessons learned along the way, and approaches to maintaining wellness and retention of team members.  Our CoRCon 2022 Planning Committee is seeking innovative presentations rather than general program overviews and preference will be given as such.

    Preconference Workshop Proposals

The Planning Committee also invites subject matter experts to submit presentation proposals for the half-day Preconference Workshop!  At last year's conference, the safety of co-responders was a widely discussed topic and voiced concern.  The Preconference Workshop will focus on first responder and co-responder safety.  Our CoRCon 2022 Planning Committee is seeking unique presentations on topics such as protective tactics, situational awareness, and safety while operating within a co-responder program.
