Pierce County Sheriff's Department is located in Tacoma, WA.

The Crisis Therapist are embedded with law enforcement (LE).  LE is able to utilize the Crisis Therapist as a resource when responding to mental health calls and provide resources and follow ups for individuals and their families that are in crisis or struggling with mental health.  

Job Requirements: 

• Working with Law Enforcement 
• Responding to community calls 
• Three years' experience in a mental health setting required 
• Must be mental health professional in accordance with WAC 388-865-0150 
• Current Washington Driver's License and reliable transportation require
• motor vehicle report from the appropriate state and proof of insurance for the transportation of clients
  
• Previous Crisis experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
• Ability to obtain Washington State Counselor Agency-Affiliated Registration upon hire

Currently we have 1 open Crisis Therapist positions with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department who contracts through Multicare Health System.  This position is fulltime with benefits. Currently we have Mid Shift available.  Multicare is also offering a $5,000 sign on bonus.
