International Co-Responder Alliance and the City of Round Rock will host the 7th Annual National Co-Responder Conference in Dallas, TX from June 7-10, 2026.
The co-response model is growing in popularity with first responder agencies nationwide. It pairs civilian behavioral health professionals with first responders on active calls for service and outreach. Having co-responders embedded has shown to be successful at mitigating risks, can be used as a de-escalation tactic and getting the right professionals involved in a timely manner.
2026 Theme – Boots on the Ground, Eyes on the Stars
Dedicated co-response and crisis response professionals developing, launching, and sustaining crisis programs are the everyday boots on the ground. These professionals have their eyes on the stars – aspiring to collaborate, innovate, and expand co-response and crisis response into the future.
The International Co-Responder Alliance (ICRA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 focused on promoting diverse co-response models across Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement, developing best practices and interventions to capitalize on the unique partnerships, sharing innovative solutions to help programs grow and overcome obstacles, creating educational opportunities including crisis response, program development and program evaluation, and creating a national conference.
